Within the training department we have 3 levels of trainers for each subsidiary and an additional 4th level to manage at Zone level:
Trainer Level 1 – Teaches basic ranges of our products to customers of the subsidiary where they belong. (DC-IP, AC, RTJ up to 20m)
Trainer Level 2 – Provide training for all our products to Customers and internal Haulotte staff. In addition, they cover Big Booms and HTL range which makes them product specialists at their subs.
Trainer Level 3 – They have the same functions as Level 1 & 2, they also have an extra task in which they propose tailor-made training for their customers and adapt the contents. They can help to train other subsidiaries.
Trainer Level 4 – Shares the missions of the other levels, but he is responsible for training at Zone level. There are 3 trainers of this kind in the group, they can be found in Europe, Asia-Pacific and America.
The trainer Level 4 program began in 2018 and has several important missions: verify the progress of each subsidiary’s in-house training, propose learning solutions in conjunction with the Service Managers and Trainers of each subsidiary. Generating new training content based on the specific needs of the market in the area, maintains a constant and close communication with key accounts, in other words, L4 trainers are focused on making training a profitable business for the subsidiary. They clarify doubts about the products, give advice on the application of our machines and last but not least, work to improve the customer experience to ensure their satisfaction when they receive one of the after-sales services we offer, mainly training.
To facilitate the achievement of training goals, in 2019 a meeting was held between the Corporate Training Department & L4 trainers to define a plan that would allow internal training for the service department in each subsidiary and improve the experience of our clients. From this meeting emerged the “UPSKILL PLAN” whose goal was to reach 100% of the internal trainings and validate them through the E-Training Partner website before the end of 2020. Each trainer (from L1 to L4) has been responsible for carrying out this plan in its sub with the support of all service members and currently several subsidiaries are close to achieve 100%, fortunately the first subs of the group to accomplish the goal during the month of July was Mexico and this makes me very happy. The service department has received a symbolic award in recognition for the hard work of its members to meet the goal of the “Upskill Plan”, it was really a great challenge to carry-on all the webinar sessions but it was attained thanks to the determination of all. However, the mission does not end here, we must continue the collective effort for other subs to meet their goal as soon as possible.
In a global context where the Pandemic has physically separated us, we must unite in will, teamwork is now more than ever essential to support ourselves in the distance with the same dedication and commitment that has always characterized us. Let’s dare together!
