The Asia Pacific Middle East team gathered once again in Siem Reap, Cambodia for an annual kick-off meeting to align strategy and action plans for 2020. A half day was set aside to continue their last year\u2019s CSR program engagement in Samrong Village.<\/strong><\/h3>

A fund raising project was organised throughout APME subsidiaries as well as CHANGZHOU factory in the last quarter of 2019 to include all team members to have a part to play in the CSR project. Fund raising activities included spare change, sacrificing their morning cup of coffee and donating the amount, potluck and donating their lunch money. The amount raised went to purchase projector cum screen and photocopier for the school.<\/p>

\"\"In Siem Reap, the team lent their hands to lay pipes in the village, setting up the projector and screen, photocopied cum binding books for the teaching materials required for the new year.\u00a0 The team also interacted with the kids through learning sessions in the classroom and some\u00a0 active games of football.<\/p>

\u201cIt\u2019s very rewarding to think that we gave a little part of our time and money and it can make a big change in the life of these kids. I strongly believe in education as a key factor in the development of individuals and societies and I\u2019m happy that we, as Haulotte, are able to contribute in one way.\u201d NAIT YACOUB Nadia, Customer Operations Manager<\/em><\/p>

Never before I had such an opportunity like this and I treasure beautiful memories of the time that we dedicated to the activities for the kids at the <\/em>Cambodian village school<\/em>. \u201cThank you for offering more, \u00a0I am good for 1 balloon or 1 sweet , there are many of us . we need to share.\u201d sharing from a child in the village.<\/em><\/p>

\u201c<\/em>Haulotte\u2019s recent CSR trip has made a huge difference to our development. Especially the photocopier is helping us save around $700 for every 6 months on the production of the learning and teaching materials. We don\u2019t have to wait a few days now to make a copy by travelling to the city and saves on time as well.<\/em>

With the screen and projector – workshop, movies and other learning sessions can now be conducted in the village allowing AKC school to have the facility like a modern school in the city. Cost saving, travel risk, quality is now at our convenience.\u00a0<\/em>

The hard work your team contributed on the water piping funding and installation is now up and running. Our school will be greener, the energy saving from using electric pumper and the place now look so proper and tidy.<\/em> All in all, your work, your tools really help us to leverage project to the next levels towards the Hospitality Training and Hospitality School.\u00a0 Above all, your time in our school, is not just about helping but influencing the team, allows the kids to get used to the outsiders and get ready for the broad future. They had a lot of fun and learning in class and outdoor activities. \u201c<\/em>I am truly glad to have had a chance to see this meaningful journey come to fruition. We can say that we met our aim of improving these children’s education conditions, in the Samrong Village.\u00a0 My enjoyable interaction with the lively, spirited children across two visits further sealed my conviction that there is much more we can do, socially.<\/em><\/p>

Within Haulotte, we actively communicated and onboarded teams across the region and achieved a meaningful team spirit.
