David Alviani joined Haulotte two years ago, persuaded by the human values of Let’s Dare, and the prospect of an ambitious strategic plan that would transform the Group. After first working with the Collaborative Work project, he is now our Project Management Officer (PMO), exploring a new profession at the heart of strategic project deployment.
In September 2018, David Alviani, along with Nicolas Chaix (Department for Quality and Operational Excellence), launched the Collaborative Work project. “It involved mapping all of the company’s processes, with the aim of breaking down barriers between departments and businesses”.
Collaborative Work entered its implementation phase in 2019, and carries with it the beginnings of our operational excellence program. And to effectively roll out the 56 projects on the strategic map, David Alviani is now in the role of Project Management Officer. “For the company, this has created a new job, and for me it’s a real innovation, with new methodologies”.
In real terms, it’s a question of facilitating the creation of strategic projects by providing assistance and targeted information. “I see myself as a resource for the project managers. I ensure that they have the resources they need, I help them move forward with a global vision, and I identify any sticking points”.
