Blood donation at H3
There is currently no substitute for human blood, and blood products have a limited life time. You’ve got it, giving blood regularly is essential! The emergency services, surgical operations, blood diseases, cancers…these are all areas to which you too can contribute.
Giving blood is a generous, public-minded act of solidarity. Giving blood, platelets and plasma means being part of a sharing process and a donor community which has a power: the power to save lives!
Over 70 people at H3 volunteered in response to the shortage the EFS (French Blood Establishment) is facing. On February 1st the teams from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region EFS set up in the H3 Showroom for a morning of blood collection!
Each volunteer had their own time slot to come and give their blood in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
“For each employee, one hour of their time saved 3 lives. When you realize that, you don’t hesitate!” declared Frédéric Goncalves, the site manager.
Let’s hope that this operation will be repeated. After all, generosity is in the DNA of Haulotte’s employees!
