Future Level-3 Service Trainers meet up at H3!
Since the start of the pandemic, Training Service teams had to stop giving courses in person to future level-3 trainers.
In November 2022, six level-2 trainers from Australia, Germany, Italy, Spain, Brazil and the United States came to H3 to continue their level-3 training course.
The Training Service has been upskilling a network of some 40 trainers over the last few years so that the trainers would be better equipped when teaching training service teams in subsidiaries. These trainers also meet up with customers to train them on our machinery.
To ensure they came away with the necessary skills, they underwent a week-long course involving
- 2 days on the management of the training activity of their subsidiary
- ½ day on technical skills
- 1½ days on developing their soft skills, such as verbal and non-verbal communication, group management, pedagogical design of in-person courses, advice and good practices for leading a course, and properly understanding how to use our Haulotte Academy.
It was fun to meet up once again and learn together!

The future belongs to those who never stop learning. That’s what they say anyway.
Jim Rohn (American entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker) once said: “Formal education will make you a living. Self-education will make you a fortune.”
Fortune is a bigger word to describe the overall benefits of lifelong learning: passions, health, career opportunities, self-development, critical thinking skills, etc.
Haulotte brings us two platforms that facilitate learning: Haulotte Academy and LinkedIn Learning.
Both are extremely useful, but LinkedIn Learning takes it up a couple of notches.
Professionally, as a technical project manager, I am constantly looking for ways to improve my leadership skills, critical thinking skills, communication skills, financial education, management skills and the list goes on and on.
I can feel the improvement even in my everyday life as I become more mindful, gain a better understanding of myself and of the people around me and deliver better results.
It’s hard to find time in the hectic, busy lives we lead, but trust me, even 5 minutes listening in the car on your way to the coffee shop or work counts.
If I may, I would recommend focusing on small milestones and keep learning. LinkedIn Learning is a great place to start.
In the end, you are the master of you own choices.
But for me, knowledge is infinite, time is limited. Keep learning.
TIPS
On your Haulotte Academy, you can actively spread knowledge and information by uploading your content onto the channels and sharing it with your colleagues.
Take advantage of the contributions posted by other people to expand your knowledge. You can also comment and interact with others about the content.
Share content by clicking “Share content” in the upper right of the platform’s homepage
Choose the type of content you want to share: link, file or screenshot.
- Channels and/or people: share content with channels, people or both
- Only me: save the content just for yourself (the content is saved on the My Channel page. It will only be visible to you and will not appear in the search results of other users)
When choosing the channels on which you want to share your content, you might see that, for some channels, you will need the opinion of an expert. This means your content will only be published on the channel after an expert of the channel has examined and approved your content.
You can become an expert of one or more channels if you want!
